Will can move now. Not only does he move everywhere but he tips things over. Things like fans and small dressers. He loves to crawl over to the shoes and he tries to eat those too. Fun.

This is a cake I made for my cake decorating class. The flowers and butterfly are made out of royal icing-my favorite median to use thus far. I think it turned out okay so far but there is room for improvements. My next cake is a two tiered cake with fondant ribbon roses. I'll keep you posted.

I've been tagged to write seven interesting things about myself. I understand that "interesting" is based completely on one's perspective and so I guarantee nothing.

1. I love school. Most people don't like it, but I feel like I found myself when I came to college. It is one of the best/hardest things I have ever done and I am almost finished. Yay!

2. I have a love/hate relationship with anything sweet or covered in chocolate. It is my daily battle to find that fine line of moderation.

3. One of my favorite things to do is read and reread conference talks. It's amazing to me how they always get better and better. They make me happy.

4. I love the movies Spanglish and The Devil Wears Prada.

5. My next ambition after I finish college is to learn to play the piano well.

6. I think I want to be a writer.

7. I am a morning person. I love waking up before everyone else and having time for myself. If I feel super ambitious, I like to exercise during that time or even just read or listen to music.

There is nothing better than leisurely waking up to the baby cooing and the sun shining through the blinds. Yes, Saturdays are the best. I love doing the mom thing and taking care of my little family, but there seems to be more time the day after Friday. Can it get any better than this?
My niece insited on having a slumber party last night that consisted of an endless supply of sweet treats and princess movies. Much to our dismay, we left the princess movies at her house. Maybe next time. I improvzed by making her favorite breakfast this morning, cheese eggs and oatmeal with fruit, and let her watch the disney channel after she took a bath. Our time together wasn't saturated with princesses, but I think she still enjoyed herself.
